National Social Worker Month

The month of March is National Social Work Month. It aims to recognize and celebrate the dedication and empathy social workers across the country deliver, while providing services to children and adults in need. Social workers are advocates, advisors, counselors, and facilitators in schools, clinics, businesses, and government offices. Social work can be emotionally draining, require long hours and absolute round the clock devotion and yet, these super humans strive every day to improve many people’s quality of life and advocate on their behalf. Social workers have helped drive significant, positive changes in our nation. We want to take the time to appreciate and recognize the value and impact social workers make and the great things they do.

This year, the National Association of Social Workers has designated “The Time Is Right for Social Work” as the theme for Social Work Month.
